      Join us throughout the year for A Date with History—a public forum of lively discussions with authors, historians and special guest speakers. Up to 1.5 CPDUs are available for most events and attendance is free.

      Teaching Military History 101

      9:00am-2:00pm March 15, 2008, October 11, 2008

      Participate in this specialized educators’ workshop to enhance competency and comfort in teaching American military history. The workshop will include a presentation by Colonel Paul Herbert PhD, Executive Director of the Cantigny First Division Foundation; explanations of military weapons and technology along with artifacts as examples, and a look at the First Division Museum’s educational resources. A tour of the tank park will also be available if the weather is agreeable. Free primary resource packets. Lunch will be provided.
